Experience

Jamie Smith (Johns) began her career as a Notary and Signing Agent in 1997. She has been actively in the industry for 12+ years and is very knowledgeable in signings of all types of loans(VA, FHA, HELOC, Reverse Mortgage, 1st purchases and loans with direct lenders). She has works with the Mortgage industry in providing notary/loan signings for the DEAF community in AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE. Recognizing a need for increased professionalism and expanded education in this field, Jamie founded the Notary Access Association in 1999 and dedicated herself to offering group and personalized Notary Public, Certification Loan Signing Agent Training. Not only is she versed in Notary Common Law but also in Notary Civil Law. She has been successful in helping hundreds start and maintain a productive notary signing agent business in CA, LA, OK, TX, IL, FL, MD, VA, to name a few states. In 2004, she was particularly recognized by the National Notary Association not only for her training classes but also for a MENTORING PROGRAM she established to assist both new and seasoned Notaries.
