“The Successful Notary” 12/06 Newsletter

by Sharon Hassler, President, Go Get Experts

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This will be the last GoGetNotary newsletter for this year but we’re looking forward to 2007. Let’s all hope for an upturn in the real estate market, lower interest rates and lots of signing business!

BACKGROUND SCREENINGS

The debate rages on about background screenings for notaries. We’re hearing from some notaries who feel like they’re being forced to pay for something that isn’t required while others have decided to go with NNA’s program just to get it over with and get on with business. And they feel adding that designation to their professional profile can only help them. You can go here to read a recent message from Milt Valera, NNA President.

BUSINESS CARD SAMPLES

Thanks to everyone who participated and emailed or snail-mailed their business cards. It took a little longer than expected to scan and touch-up the cards and set up the page, but I think it offers some good ideas for those of you wondering what to put on your cards. If you sent us a card and don’t see it here, please resend and we’ll post it ASAP. Visit our buisness card sample pages.
