NEW NAME FOR THE GOGETNOTARY.COM NEWSLETTER
One of our Advisors suggested we give our newsletter a “real” name. Since our goal is to help notaries and signing agents increase their business, “The Successful Notary” seemed fitting.
LIGHTENING CAUSES TEMPORARY CHAOS
An electrical storm blew through Phoenix, Arizona, on Monday, wreaking havoc on the hosting company who maintains our server. Their three-tier backup system wasn’t adequate to keep the air conditioning unit functioning, and the temperature inside the building quickly soared to over 100 degrees. All equipment was shut down to protect it. So if you tried to visit our site for about two hours that afternoon, it wasn’t available. Contrary to what Alex Yvonnou, our July Featured Notary claims, posting his photo over the weekend did NOT break our server.
GOGETNOTARY.COM FORUM ABOUT TO LAUNCH
We weren’t sure the industry needed another forum since there are several good ones online, but our members asked for it so it’s in the works. If you have any ideas on what we should or shouldn’t include on your forum, please let us know now. We’ll be looking for testers in the next couple of weeks. Watch for an email announcement.

Thanks to everyone who appreciated my admission of printing my business cards with the wrong phone number for the NNA Conference. Glad it provided a good lesson…and a good laugh since I constantly preach about proofreading and accuracy on marketing materials.
