American Association of Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants Formed
by Virginia (Vikki) Watanabe, Notary Signing Agent, Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant
Editor’s note: We believe this announcement should come as positive news for anyone who paid for bankruptcy assistant training (aka bankruptcy processing) and found it’s not living up to the claims. There’s hope… Vikki Watanabe has formed a new non-profit organization, the American Association of Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants (AAVBA), with a website to launch soon. She is developing her own training program to provide proven real-world strategies and no pie-in-the-sky promises. (If you’re considering a VBA career, I suggest you be patient and wait to sign up for AAVBA.) Following is some general information about the AAVBA.
The American Association of Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants (AAVBA) is a non-profit organization that will seek to edify and encourage the Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant industry. The idea for the formation of the AAVBA began in August of 2007. The official announcement was made on September 8, 2007, at the first VBA Luncheon in Seal Beach, California. Several VBAs were present for the official announcement. It was such a fun day, and all were happy that this organization was taking off.
- We are in the process of receiving non-profit status for the AAVBA which will be completed soon.
- The reason I hadn’t announced anything earlier was because I was putting together a group of reputable and dependable business people who are going to be part of this venture. I now have that team in place.
- We will host FREE Seminars to benefit VBAs. Details to follow.
- Bankruptcy Plus will be the ONLY training organization associated with the AAVBA.
There’s so much more to share when we have everything ready. I can tell you that we have many events planned for 2008. More information on this in the weeks to come. To be added to our AAVBA mailing list, please send an email to awvirtual@gmail.com.
NOTE: The AAVBA organization has no affiliation to 713Training, their agents, products, or materials.
