Notary Signing Agent work

If that is such a great field to get into, why is it that when I called a couple of people here in Houston, I was told that there isn't any work for this field. That I shouldn't waste my money in training.

What I did was call my lender who helped my husband and I buy both of our houses and she told me that she believes there isn't any work in that field. And I also called our real estate agent who told me that in her 25 years as a realtor, she has never run across any NSAs. And she has worked for Century 21 and is now with Remax. Am I contacting the wrong people?

It really sounds like a very interesting career, but if there is no work, then I have to find something else. Also, is it something you can do on the weekend, especially if you work full time during the week.

Thank you
Lucia
