A Few Simple Rules

Like our GoGetNotary.com website, this community forum is dedicated to helping notaries become more successful. This is the place to post questions and answers about anything and everything in the notary public and notary signing agent industry without fear of being attacked by rude and thoughtless posters. Please abide by these rules:

1. Be kind. New notaries or anyone taking the time to seek the correct answer should be treated with respect not ridicule. Everyone had to start somewhere and no one had all the answers the day they got their commission. Remember, Internet postings will follow you forever and are frequently read by signing, title and mortgage companies. If patience and constructive criticism are not in your makeup, please don't post on this forum.

2. Start a new topic if you have a new thought. Staying on topic means the thread (similar to a conversation) will be about one subject from beginning to end. Organized forums serve as the best reference tools and are enhanced when posters choose a relevant name for their topics and subsequent posters stick to the subject.

3. Use your signature to your advantage. Include your title, (Mobile Notary, Notary Signing Agent, etc.), a slogan if you have one and up to 2 links. Please keep the links appropriate for notary and related industries. Linking to your vitamin, crafts, ebay, pet-sitting business diminishes your professionalism as a notary. "Jack of all trades, master of none..."

4. Live links to other sites are permitted in posts as long as they are related to the topic and offer value to forum members and visitors.

5. Any posts that appear self-serving, deceptive, profane, or unethical will be removed and the poster's membership will be revoked.

6. We welcome new notary-related products. If you have something to sell to notaries, you are considered a vendor. Vendors can promote their products in the Vendor section only. You may communicate by Private Message (PM) to members only IF they request information about the particular type of product or service you offer. OR refer them to your promotion in the Vendor section or to the link in your signature. Non-notary related: Post in Additional Streams of Income.

7. By posting on this forum, you give GoGetNotary permission to reprint your post in other areas on this forum, the GoGetNotary.com website, "The Successful Notary" newsletter, or other affiliated websites. Your comments will be credited to you and you retain copyright.

8. All information and posts on this forum are copyrighted by the poster and GoGetNotary.com. If you wish to reprint posts, you must obtain permission from the poster and GoGetNotary.com.

9. We're not afraid of a little competition! However, if you joined this forum just to promote your own forum or directory, remember you can only promote your product in the Vendor section. Any other self-serving posts will be removed and your forum membership will be revoked.
